Focus and scope

Jurnal Keperawatan Malang (JKM, or Nursing Journal of Malang) is a media to share scientific studies about nursing published by LPPM, School of Health Sciences (STIKes) Panti Waluya Malang since 2015. This journal covered basic nursing sciences, pediatric nursing, medical-surgical nursing, maternity nursing, emergency nursing, mental health nursing, community nursing, family nursing, gerontology nursing, and nursing health policy. This journal is delimited into topics related to original research, and reviews, which contribute to developing the nursing scientific field. JKM publishing is a peer-reviewed twice-a-year (June and December) professional journal. In 2016, JKM began using the Open Journal System (OJS) as an operational system. JKM has been accredited as a 4th Grade Scientific Journal (Sinta 4, Peringkat 4) by the Ministry of Science, Research, Technology and Higher Education of Indonesia (RISTEKDIKTI RI) since 2020. The updated Accreditation Number: 79 / E / KPT / 2023 valid until 2026.


We aim to promote the development of nursing research into clinical evidence in practice. Our audience is the national and international nursing community, educators, health professionals, policymakers, and interested public members worldwide.
