Accreditation of JKM

ANNOUNCEMENT

Based on the Decree of the Director General of Research and Development, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Number 295/C/23/KPT/2026 concerning the Reaccreditation Ranking of Scientific Journals for Period II of 2025, dated January 2, 2026, the accreditation status of the Jurnal Keperawatan Malang (JKM) has changed from SINTA 4 to SINTA 5 (further information can be accessed at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1V0EgAEhGODx5uofHzDAvn57pN8hDfWfJ/view?usp=sharing). This change in accreditation status serves as both an evaluation and a motivation for JKM to continue improving the quality of journal management, article quality, and publication governance in order to contribute to the development of nursing science.

As a part of ongoing efforts to improve quality, JKM has also achieved an important international milestone. Based on the official notification from DOAJ dated May 29, 2026, the Jurnal Keperawatan Malang (JKM) has been officially indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) (further information can be accessed at https://doaj.org/toc/2550-0538). This achievement represents a strategic step for JKM in increasing its accessibility and international reputation.

We would like to express our gratitude to all parties, including authors, reviewers, and the editorial team, who have contributed to the development of this journal. JKM will continue to strive to enhance the quality of its publications and the journal’s scientific impact at both national and international levels
